John D. Sullivan death (1967), former associate of Guy banister

Mississippi Civil Rights Revisited', p. 407: "Why else would the State Sovereignty Commission in March of 1964 decide to hire John D. Sullivan, a former FBI agent who once worked for Guy Banister (a former CIA and military intelligence officer), to "discredit Tougaloo College"? Or to force the firing of the school's pro-civil rights president?"

Sullivan, a Vicksburg, Miss. private detective and former FBI agent, who "committed suicide" Oct. 23, 1966, three years after the assassination of JFK. Other persons involved with Guy Banister also died rather quickly, often under mysterious circumstances: David Ferrie, Hugh F. Ward, Oswald and Maurice Brooks Gatlin are among the examples.
